Lovingly Interrupted is a collection of art and objects created to tell the story of being a mother, wife, sister, daughter. In this series, images are created that are both beautiful and thought provoking, these document the continual interruptions that punctuate our lives. and explore the emotions surrounding these relationships. This exhibition is partnered (and mentored) by well known contemporary artist Kim Schoenberger and her work, Expressions of Love II. In her exhibition Schoenberger offers a unique take on the past, presenting a rationale of generational sisterhood that has been forged through shared experience. Examining the remnants of treasured memories via the inspired use of recycled teabags, Schoenberger shares the institution of the cup of tea, and unveils a unique transitional paradigm that is love. There is also a Zine produced with all the images and stories behind the work, available in a hand bound hardcopy or as an Ezine downloadable pdf more information
