Shamanic Womancraft Session
Shamanic Womancraft uses the ancient way of the midwife ~ the Mauiutic Method ~ asking of our wounds “how does this serve?”
This then begins the unravelling of the influence of one’s rites of passage, red thread or mother line, and allows women to awaken, heal and reconnect with their inner knowing, wisdom and power.
Why have a 1:1 private session
You may have a particular issue that has your attention that you want to understand the context of in your life and wish to work with it in a healed way rather than a wounded way.
You may want to understand the patterns and themes that run through your life unconsciously.
You may be preparing for birth, or preparing your daughter for menarche or be experiencing peri or post menopause and wondering what is happening!
What to expect in a 1:1 private session
You will experience an “innerview”, in the time leading up to the session you will email the answers, to a series of questions around your rites of passage - birth, childhood (any childhood trauma you have experienced), menarche, first sexual experience, pregnancy, menopause, information about your red thread/mothers lineage, this all gives clues to identify patterns and themes. Next we connect in a zoom call, where we will work together to help you unravel the clues in your story and see a way forward.
The session takes about 90-120 minutes and happens on zoom, the intention of the session could be in preparation for or in response to a major rite of passage in your life ie. birth or to understand a previous birth experience and what it taught you… understanding the themes and patterns in your life and the trajectories and imprints from your red thread or mother line wound, understanding menstrual cycle or other life experience. It's all about unpacking your story and uncovering what needs healing and what insights can be brought into your present day life.
Honouring the Lineage of the School of Shamanic Womancraft
This modality is deeply rooted in ancient traditions, where humanity's connection to nature and the sacredness of life cycles is honoured and understood. The wisdom is brought to life today by Jane Hardwicke Collings the founder of the School, who was taught by Jeannine Parvati Baker, Jane also sought council with James Blackbear Harvey, Cedar Barstow and Maggie Lecky Thompson and many others to develop the depth of wisdom of this work. Jane, with her focus on the transformative power of women's cycles, and Jeannine's work integrating the sacred and the practical aspects of birth and womanhood, carry forward the legacy of shamanic wisdom. Honouring every women's journey, sharing guidance rites of passage with reverence, self-awareness and a deep connection to all that is.
What does Shamanic Mean
Shamanic is an adjective from the noun shamanism which has its origins in every culture on the planet right now. Every person's original culture has aspects of shamanism present. In modern times, everyday ordinary shamanism allows people to connect deeply with themselves, their environment, and the unseen world around them. It doesn't require a formal "shamanic" title or ancient practices—it’s about integrating spiritual connection, healing, and nature into your daily life.
The information during sessions should not be considered as advice, it should not be used to treat, assess or diagnose a psychological condition, nor should it be used as an alternative to obtaining professional advice from a qualified medical practitioner.
Please always consult a professional health care provider about any health concerns you might have for yourself or on behalf of another person.
