Wildflowering kinship and creating - Marking Place Workshop - 22nd Oct 2021

Where: Maroochy Botanic Gardens, Tanawha, Sunshine Coast, Qld.
This workshop will share the inspiration of making natural ink and explore mark making using materials from your everyday environment. We will look at how to connect your senses to the creative process of mark making, to free up and unblock your ability to respond to landscape. Looking at the more than human world that surrounds us.
To bring: Enclosed shoes, Hat, Drink Bottle, and a sense of abundant curiosity.
We will adhere to current COVID-19 Queensland state government requirements and event arrangements may be impacted by such.
This workshop is subsidised as part of a residency project developed by Wild/flower Women projects (Sue Davis) and supported by Sunshine Coast Council through provision of the residency space at the Arts & Ecology Centre and through RADF. The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Sunshine Coast Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
